Bonnie and Clyde

A brilliantly made, groundbreaking film that chronicles the short lives of America's most infamous criminals.
A bored small-town girl and a small-time bank robber leave in their wake a string of violent robberies and newspaper headlines that catch the imagination of the Depression-struck Mid-West in this take on the legendary crime spree of these archetypal lovers on the run.

Shame, shame, everybody knows your name!

Young, attractive and vivacious, model Diana Scott is firmly decided to become rich and famous as well. To succeed, she does not hesitate to take bold steps. After a while, she literally strikes gold: she meets Robert Gold, a well-known TV journalist, who not only introduces her into new social and professional circles, but also abandons his family to live with her. Diana seems to have happily combined success and love. However, in those roaring sixties, others are ready to offer her even more money, fame, and, seemingly, fun than Robert can...

Just a good film. For the character of Diana Scott Julie Christie won an Oscar.

The Philadelphia Story

Broadway's howling year-run comedy hit of the snooty society beauty who slipped and fell - IN LOVE!

I'm testing the air. I like it but it doesn't like me.
Philadelphia socialites Tracy Lord and C.K. Dexter Haven married impulsively, with their marriage and subsequent divorce being equally passionate. They broke up when Dexter's drinking became excessive, it a mechanism to cope with Tracy's unforgiving manner to the imperfect, imperfections which Dexter admits he readily has. Two years after their break-up, Tracy is about to remarry, the ceremony to take place at the Lord mansion. Tracy's bridegroom is nouveau riche businessman and aspiring politician George Kittredge, who is otherwise a rather ordinary man and who idolizes Tracy. The day before the wedding, three unexpected guests show up at the Lord mansion: Macaulay Connor (Mike to his friends), Elizabeth Imbrie - the two who are friends of Tracy's absent brother, Junior - and Dexter himself. Dexter, an employee of the tabloid Spy magazine, made a deal with its publisher and editor Sidney Kidd to get a story on Tracy's wedding...
The course of true love...gathers no moss.
Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, James Stewart, Ruth Hussey- this names are very important in world cinematographer. They are amazing.

It Happened One Night

 Amazing! Brilliant! Chef-d'oeuvre!

Ellie Andrews has just tied the knot with society aviator King Westley when she is whisked away to her father's yacht and out of King's clutches. Ellie jumps ship and eventually winds up on a bus headed back to her husband. Reluctantly she must accept the help of out-of- work reporter Peter Warne. Actually, Warne doesn't give her any choice: either she sticks with him until he gets her back to her husband, or he'll blow the whistle on Ellie to her father. Either way, Peter gets what (he thinks!) he wants .... a really juicy newspaper story.

In 1935 this film won Oscars as the best film, for the best actress (Claudette Colbert) ans the best actor (Clark Gable). For the best adapted screenplay and for the best directer work.

Coming Home

Diddy - Dirty Money

The Godfather: Part III

In the final instalment of the Godfather Trilogy, an aging Don Michael Corleone seeks to legitimize his crime family's interests and remove himself from the violent underworld but is kept back by the ambitions of the young. While he attempts to link the Corleone's finances with the Vatican, Michael must deal with the machinations of a hungrier gangster seeking to upset the existing Mafioso order and a young protoge's love affair with his daughter.

Really I hate this part even more than the first. It is more stupid and boring than it. Ohh, I hate it so much.

This part was made in 1990 all actors grew up and even became old. Francis Ford Coppola tried to PR his daughter and gave her a role of Don Corleone's daughter. Thankfully she was killed. In such way all untalented actors and directors should be killed.

But in this film there is a person who played really good, it is Eli Wallach, but he was killed in the end of the film.

Thankfully the is no continue and it was the last part of famous Godfather.

The Godfather: Part II

This part was much better than the first!

The early life and career of Vito Corleone in 1920s New York is portrayed while his son, Michael, expands and tightens his grip on his crime syndicate stretching from Lake Tahoe, Nevada to pre-revolution 1958 Cuba.

I liked this part more, ignoring the fact that it is the longest of all 3 parts. The storyline is more interesting. It helps us to know more about how Vito Corleone became Don Carleone. The characters of Connie Corleone, Vito Corleone, Kay Corleone are described more and help us to understand how hard there lives are\were.

The only thing I can't and don't want to understand is why Francis Ford Coppola made it so long. Maybe it is in his blood, because his daughter Sofia loves to make long and boring films too.

Black Swan

I watched this amazing film for the second time, and I like it more and more!

Plot: Nina (Portman) is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her obsessive former ballerina mother Erica (Hershey) who exerts a suffocating control over her. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

Talented  actors like Natalie Portman (who won an Oscar for this role), Mila Kunis (girl from Ukraine, my Motherland), Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey, Winona Ryder.

The Godfather: Part I

Till today I thought that the worst, the longest, the most boring film is "Inception" (2010). But I understood that "The Godfather: Part I" is much worser. It took 3 hours of my life.

The plot is quite boring. Very easy and predictive.

The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family.

The only thing that I liked in it were actors: Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Diane Keaton.
